About Tami

Tamera Dawnell Burns was born June 15,1964 to Donald and Bonnie Burns in
Lander. She grew up in Lander and graduated from Lander Valley High School in
1982. She attended Central Wyoming College for two years on a volleyball
scholarship. She left Lander and moved to Casper and worked for the "Sweet Briar"
clothing store. She moved to Cheyenne for a short time and then moved to

Sacramento, California for four years where she worked in woman's retail. Tami
lived in Billings, Montana for fourteen years where she was a stay at home mom
and she did a few odd jobs while her daughter Haylee was in school including
working at Sky View High School. Tami moved to Pierre, South Dakota in August of
2004. she worked at Kmart and was going to start a job doing Medicare billing for a
local pharmacy until her life ended tragically February 8th. She enjoyed decorating,
landscaping, and gardening. She also enjoyed sports and activities with her
daughter, walking, outdoor activities, and camping throughout her life.
